The following is the most up to date Rules Document for our league. I am constantly adding to it as rules change/are added as we grow.

New Rules~Season 18
1.) Teams may trade for other team’s PS players OR trade their own PS players during the season.
*Any PS players traded for MUST be placed on the 53 ACTIVE roster AND be given a contract. (Can’t be placed back on another team’s PS.)
2.) You may sign a PS player from your own team during the season…
*When you have an injury OR…
*If you just feel like it will improve your team. (Remember, you would have to release a player on your team to do this, so there IS a penalty.)
Note: You may sign a PS player instead of a Free Agent rated 60-70 to go over the salary cap in INJURY SITUATION ONLY.
Injured Reserve- Designated to Return
Each team may bring back ONE PLAYER FROM INJURED RESERVE EACH SEASON as long as their injury length does not exceed the amount of games left in the VMFL season.
Player Injury Ratings
*All preseason we have been playing with “adjusted” injury ratings based on the “50” scale, the same as last season. (Except for QB’s and HB’s who were hurt too frequently last season).
Offensive Line Injuries
After each game (Both Teams)…
Step 1: Roll Two (2) Dice…2, 3, 11, 12 means an injury to one of your O-Linemen. (16.68% chance of injury).
If you roll a 2, 3, 11 or 12…do the following.
Step 2: One Dice Roll…1=LT…2=LG…3=C…4=RG…5=RT…6-No Injury
Step 3: Two (2) Dice Roll= Length of Injury (# of Games)
If a player sustains a concussion, he must pass the VMFL “Concussion Protocal” by rolling 2 dice BEFORE the next game.
EVEN number (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) he passes protocol and can play next game.
ODD number (3, 5, 7, 9, 11) he fails and has to wait another week to play.
Note: This would replace the current rule of -10 AWARENESS.
